DRAWDOWN 2009

Hello Everyone,
The annual Drawdown of the lake will begin on
November 1st, 2009.
Please have all boats and floating devices out of the water by that date. The lake has been low due to lack of rain this late season and the ramp is already lower than normal. Don't get caught this year.

LILLY PAD TREATMENT

Hello everyone,
Please stay off of the lake on September 14, 2009. Lycott will be spraying lilly pads and we need to keep the waves to a minimum so that the chemical stays on the leaves.

Moose Hill project Stalled by DEP

Ma Environmental Police have notified me that they will be on the lake frequently to check on Unregistered boats and PWC. Please do yourself a favor and register your watercraft. You will be fined if not currently registered.

STREET SWEEPING

Hello everyone and Happy Spring to you all.

The SRA will be in charge of sweeping the streets this year due to the ice storm clean up and lack of funds in the Town. We spoke with the Highway superintendent and he said that it was not possible this year. They gave us their sweeping people and we negotiated a deal to do the surrounding lake roads.

We Will Begin the sweeping Wednesday if the weather conditions are right. If not Wednesday it will be sometime next week.

DO NOT PUT STICK, STONES DEBRIS OF ANY SORTS IN THE ROAD, JUST SAND. THEY WILL BYPASS THE AREA IF THOSE MATERIALS ARE PRESENT.

We are asking for a $10.00 donation per household to help assist this expense.

Mark the checks "Sweeping" so that we are not confused about yearly dues payments.
