This is a letter from Robert McNeil about our time table concerning the dam. Sounds great! Remember that we lost close to 5 feet of water last season, so 2 feet shouldn't be all that bad before Memorial day. We should fill up quite fast at that point.
I wanted to give everyone an update on the Sugden Dam
repairs. We are purchasing the new lift gate directly (separately from
the installation contract) to expedite the construction schedule and save on
the contractor’s markup. Plans are available to potential bidders through
our Engineer (PARE Corp.) and will be available for viewing here at the U&F
office.
